I. Purpose:

In response to the Ministry of Education’s policy initiatives—“Pilot Program for Innovation in Humanities Education” and “Pilot Program for General Education,” this center is organizing the 14th General Education Academic Conference on “Humanities and Teaching” at Ming Chi University of Technology. V. Submission Guidelines:

1. Eligibility:

Faculty members of higher education institutions, doctoral students, and doctoral graduates

2. Paper Length:

In accordance with academic norms of each discipline

3. Submission Procedure:

Please submit the completed electronic files of the Submission Registration Form (Appendix 1) and Abstract Form (Appendix 2) before the abstract submission deadline to Ms. Kuo at: [ktml0702120@mail.mcut.edu.tw](mailto:ktml0702120@mail.mcut.edu.tw) Alternatively, submit A4 hard copies along with a CD (including the registration form, abstract form, and two copies of keywords in both printed and PDF formats) via registered mail to: General Education Center, Ming Chi University of Technology, No. 84, Gongzhuan Rd., Taishan Dist., New Taipei City 243303, Taiwan (Postmark date will be used as proof) Please indicate on the envelope: “Submission for the 14th Humanities and Teaching Academic Conference.” Submissions will be reviewed by invited experts and scholars in relevant fields. Incomplete submissions that are not supplemented within the notified deadline will be considered withdrawn. Abstract review results will be announced on the General Education Center website and notified via email. Applicants not selected will not receive further notification. Accepted authors must submit the full paper before the specified deadline.

(1) The paper title should be in DFKai-SB (BiauKai), font size 18, centered. The author’s name and affiliation should be in DFKai-SB, font size 12, centered. Notes and author information should be placed before the first footnote in DFKai-SB, font size 12.
