Dear first-year students and students retaking or making up “The Way of the University” course,

For Academic Year 2025, the “The Way of the University – Environment and Action” field practice unit has planned a total of 40 routes. This semester, students may freely register for their preferred route. Each student only needs to attend one session.

Registration will open at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, and will close at 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2025.

The “Environment and Action” field practice unit consists of three parts: the preliminary session, field practice, and post-course discussion. The preliminary session refers to route-related information sent by text message or e-mail. Each route has different themes, class methods, and locations, which makes this unit especially interesting.

Please read the following notes carefully before registration:

1. Each route is limited to 20, 28, or 30 students. Registration will close once the quota is full.

2. Please do not register repeatedly, so as not to occupy places and affect the rights of other students.

3. After registration closes, the results will be announced on the General Education Center website as early as Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Please also check your school e-mail.

4. Registration is open until 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Students who do not register will be randomly assigned by the General Education Center. The announcement by the General Education Center shall prevail.

5. Students who fail to complete registration before the deadline or who register repeatedly will be uniformly assigned by the General Education Center. Please refer to the official announcement.

6. To avoid affecting regular classes and exams, official leave certificates will not be accepted or issued for this unit. Please be sure to register for a route scheduled during your free time.

7. Each account may keep only one registration record for the same route. If the same account is used to register for both yourself and another person on the same route, the system will use the latest submission, which may overwrite the previous record. If you need to help another student register, please log out first and then log in with that student’s own account.

8. Small-group field practice requires more resources. After registration, students should attend the field practice course as scheduled. Unless there is a necessary reason for leave, such as a medical certificate issued by a public hospital and approved by the General Education Center, make-up classes will not be allowed. This may affect whether students pass the course.
