The General Education Center aims to enhance students’ cultural literacy, foster an intellectual atmosphere on campus, and promote residential college education while cultivating the qualities of diligence, simplicity, and humanistic literacy. A lecture will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at the Lecture Hall on the 1st Floor of the Innovation Building. Documentary filmmaker PENG Li-yan, director of Still Wanting, will be invited to give a talk on “Unmasking ‘Mental Traps’: The Human Side of Scams.” All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to participate.
